The 6th Magellan Science Meeting 2027 (MSM2027) will be held the week of May 17, 2027 at the University of Chicago. The meeting brings together the Magellan community to share recent scientific results, discuss upcoming instruments and surveys, and explore synergies with current and future facilities.
The main conference runs for 2.5 days and will feature contributed talks, posters, and discussion sessions. The remaining days of the week are reserved for splinter sessions. Groups are encouraged to use the time and space for mini-collaboration meetings, pipeline working groups, or instrument team gatherings. We are still deciding which days of the week will be the main conference and which will be splinter sessions.
Registration and abstract submission details will be available soon. We anticipate abstracts will be due in ~Feb 2027.
