Description
Since the discovery of the jet interaction regions as very-high-energy (VHE) gamma-ray sources by the High Altitude Water Cherenkov (HAWC) observatory in 2018, SS 433 has been actively studied across a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum to test its capabilities as a powerful particle accelerator. In this work, we present the most up-to-date results on SS 433 produced using 2,398 days of data from HAWC, which has more than doubled in the amount accumulated. With this data, we present spectral studies on the observed VHE gamma-ray emission from the two lobes of SS 433. We have identified the spectral index as -2.44+/-0.17 and -2.35+/-0.15 for the east and west jet lobes, respectively. Furthermore, we present energy-dependent morphological studies on the lobes using template modeling of the entire region.
