Description

In this work, I use simulations from The 300 Project to connect morphological measures and statistics of the stellar light distribution with physical processes in cluster formation. Specifically, I investigate systematic changes in the stellar density map distribution due to mechanisms such as merger and accretion histories of the galaxy clusters. The results of this investigation can then be used to interpret observations from telescopes, such as HST and JWST. An ultimate goal is to identify a combination of observable signatures that can be tied to the galaxy cluster dynamical histories.
